We require freshwater algae (either chlorella, spirulina or another form of blue green algae), in large bags or containers (up to 100 kilos each), for use as fertilizer in organic agriculture. We have an organic farm (and holistic retreat centre) with 1200 fruit trees and we have contacts with the local farmers' co-op and with landscape design companies, nurseries and organic farmers' associations so if we were to find a good source, we could also become a wholesale outlet for your product in Portugal. As we are interested in using the algae as an agricultural product, rather than for resale as a 'Health Product', we are not at the moment looking for algae in the form of capsules, pills, etc., although we are in the process of developing a small distribution company for health food and health care products as well as books, DVDs and CDs relating to health and personal development, so we will eventually also be interested in smaller packaging of such products.
